Welcome to Nourished Approach

My name is Mandy-Lee Noble, I am a fully qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a special interest in nutrition for oral health, the non-diet approach for weight management and sports nutrition.

As a dietitian, my aim is to empower clients to achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life. The Nourished Approach is client-focused and uses the latest evidence to develop strategies to support clients to become intuitive eaters who enjoy a wide variety of foods for nutrition and pleasure. The Nourished Approach promotes inclusive and holistic healthcare that is body positive and weight neutral.

Dietetic care involves more than just clinical skill and an awareness of the latest scientific research. Making changes to our diet and our relationship with food requires practical support. This is where I draw on my experience as a working parent and an elite athlete to support clients (and the parents/guardians of younger clients) with simple, real-life solutions for busy people.

If you are concerned about your diet or your health it is very easy to feel bombarded by the amount of nutrition information (and misinformation) you see everyday. As an Australian Independent Dietitian-Nutrtionists (AIDN) I value the trust my clients place in my advice as a health professional and have declared my independence of the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The best reason is to receive individualised and client-focused nutrition counseling from a university trained expert in food and nutrition. Dietitians collaborate with their clients to formulate individualised nutrition care plans and develop practical strategies to support clients in achieving their health goals. In complex cases and chronic disease management only APDs are qualified to prescribe medical nutrition therapy and receive Medicare rebates for consultations.
